Appropriate to age - fundamental sport skills year 4-6. Prior to this we need to be teaching basic movement skills e.g. Running, catching and passing. Year 4 link these skills together to play a game eg. Run jump, catch, land and pass in a netball game. After this they move to refining skills, sport specific skills e.g. Spin bowling

Physical literacy need to link thinking and communication skills to movement skills. Thinking is critical thinking, problem solving, moving into space, tactics. Communicate talking to team, sharing moves and plans
Teach generic skills e.g. Invasion games rather than specific sports. Can use the skills learn in different games.
Sport start online resource - 8 week unit plans for every year level for every topic
Follow up support looks great to keep on track and following the programme. Seems very realistic of time constraints and information needed for teachers. I really enjoyed using this programme in term one, I would like to explore this more to expand my pe programme.
